The lateral one is commonly used for 6000 LPH+ Water Treatment Systems. Where as the Regular ones are used in <6000LPH Water Treatment Systems.

Water distribution system and washing of the filter medium for continuous washing filter. It comprises, in principle, a housing, in whose lower part there is a bed of sand (12) responsible for cleaning an upward flow of water fluid. It also has a scrubber (5) for dirty sand. It is essentially characterized by incorporating a washing system centered with a pumping pipe for dirty sand that is completely straight. It also incorporates an internal measurement and control system of the rejection flow. Another improvement is the homogeneous distribution of water that is achieved in its ascension through the mass of sand that is practically the same at all points considering each radial plane, thus obtaining a maximum performance in cleaning the water to be treated.
